Hi!
I have a question considering cavitation modelling. Can anyone tell me how is the SIMPLE algorithm addapted to take into account the cavitation model? Thanks in advance. wat |

Hi Wat,
CFX4 uses a SIMPLE algorithm, but CFX5 does not use SIMPLE. CFX5 uses a fully coupled solver which is much quicker and more robust than SIMPLE. The details of cavitation modelling is discussed in the documentation. Glenn Horrocks |
