I'm running an LES simulation and I would like to see if there is a oscillations in the flow. I would like to do this by averaging planes of velocity in segments of 20 timesteps over 5000 timesteps. So, I would have (5000/20) plots of velocity and I might be able to see some type of oscillation. Looking at instantaneous planes of velocity would be useless because the flow field looks completely random.
I tried to do this with transient statistics, but CFX will only let me define one transient statistic in the output control. Any ideas? Don't tell me I have to manually stop and restart the simulation every 20 timesteps to get my averages. |
