Hi, when I did a quality check of my mesh, some problems with multiple edges were found. I didnīt know how I can improve the mesh to get no problems with multiple edges.
Maybe someone could help me. Thanks maje |

Hi,
Multiple edges are not always a problem. At the intersection of different mesh volumes (eg for a multi-domain simulation) you get multiple edges. Here it is not a problem and your mesh will work OK. Sometimes it is caused by some surface meshes not attaching to the correct surface. In this case it is a problem. Have a detailed look at the surface mesh, especially around thin sections and sharp points. Glenn |

Thanks for the answer but it didn`t me help so much. Because I didn`t know how I can handle this problem. I used the functions "set curve mesh size" and improved the mesh but the qualitycheck brought always the same error (multiple edges)

Hi,
As I said, this is not necessarily an error. Your mesh might be fine. Glenn |
