dear all,

how to give tolerance value and maximum edge length values in meshing,if my dimensions are in mm.

It's been a while since I used CFX-Build since CFX stop providing support. Anyway, it depends the version you are using. for v4, before the build environment will upload it'll prompt you for either tolerance or geometry total dimension. Based on what you specified the CFX will automatic compute its tolerance for the mesh. You can also change this tolerance by clicking Preference, then global etc.(check it up on the top tool bar). for v5 you can change it by clicking Preference, then follow screen instruction. Either mm or m, has no influence on it if I'm right since you choose what dimension to work with before drawing or importing your geometry.

PS: Check the USER MANUAL for more details and accurate info. It came with the package and also available online by clicking the HELP on the tool bar.
