I am a new user of CFX. I want to know how to model the separation phenomenon of water, droplet and air. The detail information stated as follow, I shall be grateful if anyone can help me. Thank you for all of you in advance!
Product: Vacuum Cleaner Application: Cleaning wet floor Working environment: Wet floor such as water and soap mixing Problem: The vacuum cleaner suck in water with soap by a motor unit. During the water sucked into the machine, the water mixes with air. In order to avoid the water goes into the motor unit, water need to be separated from air and then store it in a container. At this time, part of the water will become droplet. Objective: To conduct a CFD analysis to eliminate water and droplet goes into the motor unit. The product design including suction channel, separator, fan and motor could be modified. N.B.: Can I model the condition of bubbles created in water with soap by CFX5? |
