dear
I am finishing an academic paper and I use CFX. I have a characteristic curve pump, whether with a characteristic curve pump we can get the actual pump geometry, using a characteristic curve pump. how to use vista cpd using a characteristic curve pump. |

No you cannot. At least not without a lot of assumptions, and even then it becomes an inverse problem (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverse_problem) which are challenging at the best of times.

dear abdg
could start by means of hypotheses, from the beginning could insert in the CPD view the values of the pump BEP. simulate two points above and two below and power check and NPSH. It will be very laborious and I believe that theoretical values in relation to the angles of entry and exit will help. |
