How 2 generate combined mesh?

Could somebody share with me some ideas/experience about how to generate combined meshes (hexa with tetra)? I mean a REAL combined mesh and NOT one with GGI. I'm especially interested in the possibilities/solutions using the "new" package called ANSYS CFX-CAD2Mesh 2.1 (With Ansys Workbench (incl. DesignModeler 8.0.1 and CFX-Mesh) and ICEM-CFD4.CFX 1.0). Is it possible to generate a Tet mesh using CFX-Mesh and combine it with the ICEM (ICEM-Hexa to be precise) generated Hex mesh? Or do I have to use ICEM if I want to have combined grid/mesh? (because ICEM looks a bit complicated...) If yes, how?
And does anybody know about some tutorials/help on this topic? Many thanks bogesz |
