Hello Everybody,

Anyone have idea how to make multiple selection of surfaces in IcemCFD 4 CFX. I have more than 250 surfaces in my geometry and screen selecting them one by one is not so easy as some of the surfaces are very small. The best way is to select them in group from the screen. But in IcemCFD 4 CFX I dont know how to do multiple screen selection as it is just possible to select one at a time and it is painful. Thanks in advance.

Hi deLuther

I didnt find Hot keys in the Help section. Can you tell me how to use the p key for multiple surface selection. I want to select multiple surfaces from the screen itself as we do in CFX 5.6.

I tried by pressing p key but the screen gives busy sign as soon I press the p key. So, I am not really able to do anything with respect to multiple surface selection.

Thanks in advance

Hi

ICEM puts all the surfaces in a part by default. You can maybe select all the other complementary surfaces in a part (if they are not many) and ICEM will keep only the ones you want in the default part name.

Hope it helps
