Hi everyone. I have a medium level of experience in ANSYS CFX. My problem is with the geometry or the mesh.
I´m working with an axial flow pump impeller and diffuser. I imported the geometry from Autodesk Inventor and prepared in ANSYS Design Modeler. After that I meshed in ANSYS TurboGrid, no errors reported. When I opened the CFX Pre there is a chamfer or a cone at the diffuser´s outlet, I came back and reviewed all the process and everythings seems to be ok, I have no idea of what´s going on with the mesh or the geometry. Have you any idea of why is that happening? Thanks for your time! David |

Can you post an image which clearly shows the chamfered edge you are talking about?
