I am trying to simulate vibration in pipe due to flow. Simulation metod used is coupled analysis of transient structural & transient flow analysis.
But this analysis is consuming huge amount of space. In my case hard disc space required is >400 GB. Is there any other way to reduce this simulation space? |

How is the disk space being used? For transient files?
What kind of information do you require in the transient files? All of it, or just certain variables. For the latter, you should use Selected Variables. Do you need the information for the whole volume? or just the boundaries? |

As opaque states you can choose what variables go in the results file if you like. And in recent versions of CFX you can also select only a portion of the mesh or boundaries to be saved as well. So some combination of these will reduce the results file size a lot.
