I'm working in nuclear reactor sub-channel analysis in Ansys CFX , and i want to simulate heat transfer and flow of coolant, and some of my difficulties is how to make periodic boundary, and another one is how to simulate solid domain inside fluid domain?

Periodic flow only? Or flow and heat transfer? The latter can get difficult with CFX.
If flow only, you would use a translational periodic interface between your inlet and outlet. It is best to have a 1:1 mesh at these two locations. Tutorials show several examples of this. Simulating heat transfer between solid and liquid domains is standard, there are many examples in the tutorials. You just use a domain interface between the two domains. |

in reactor sub channel periodic.is rotational between horizontal sides and vertical side, and heat tansfer between fluid and mixing vane |
