export CFX results to Tecplot

Hi,

Does anyone konw how to export the three-dimensional simulation results from CFX to Tecplot? It worked for 2D cases where I can export everything on a plane to Tecplot, but I don't know how to do it in 3D.

Hi

Just export the results from CFX in cgns format.

You will be able to load this format in Tecplot v9 and above.

Hi windhair,

CFX-Post works with CFX4 dump files as well. I think CFX-Post is the current post-processor for CFX4, so if you don't have it you should try to get it.

What post-processor are you using?

CFX Analysis, seems there are such option in cfxanalysis.

Hi,when I export result file from CFX 5.6 to CGNS,in Tecplot 10 I get only one zone without pervious BC regions and I can't to separate them.Does anyone know where the problem is?Thanks in advance. Zbynek
