Hi frineds, i m in a great trouble....please help me....i will be very glad indeed... I have a biochemical reactions in porous media. (O2 from gas phase comes on solid surface and reacts with substrate S to produce a solid X). Please tell me how to simulate it? I have tried the following things but nothing is working.
1. used (S+X+dummy material) as liquid phase and (O2+dummy O2) as gas phase and specified source terms for S, X and O2.(dummy materials are used so that continuity equations are satisfied) 2. tried as a single phase mixture of X,S,O2 and dummy material.and specifying source terms. 3. tried multiphase with (S+X+liquid oxygen) as liquid phase and (O2) as gas phase. but nothing is working. i shall be glad if anyone particularly working in such gas-solid or gas-liquid reaction schemes suggests me some solution. Thanks in Advance, Paresh Jain |
