Hi,
I am trying to run my simulation in a rotating reference frame. I want the reference frame to be offset from the global coordinate system in the global x-y frame. When I add a coordinate system I can only enter numerical values into the defining points. Is there a way to add this using parameters? Thanks |

Yes, this is possible. For example, you can create three expressions. Lets say a,b &c
a=1[m] b=1[m] c=a+b Then, in Pre, right click on your coordinate frame and select "Edit in Command Editor". This opens the definition of your coordinate frame in text format. Now you can replace numbers with your expressions a,b&c Make sure that your expressions always have the dimension [m]. |
