where to find example about cfx5

hello, everyone. i am a learner and have done some tutorial in cfx5.5. i feel it necessary to do more examples. Can i find them on internet? thanks for your reply.

Have you worked through all the help examples ? Once you've done that then you will really need to just try and set up your own examples - no substitute for experience. Just make them small and simple, build them up, piece at a time. That way you will progress the quickest. Good Luck Bob

Hi Andrew and Bob,
Can I suggest doing benchmark problems? For instance flow over a backward step, lid driven cavity, flow over a circular/square cylinder, laminar/turbulent boundary layers etc. Choose a benchmark with similar flow features to what you eventually want to model. If you can find some good benchmark data to compare against you can get a really good feel as to what is required to do an accurate simulation. Getting the simulation to run is only step one. Getting reliable and accurate results from a simulation is the challenging part. Glenn |
