Hey everyone,
I am running a simulation with ANSYS CFX from ANSYS Workbench. I have a three part solid. I put all the solids in a single Part in Design Modeler, as they told me that this is the best way to have a conformal mesh at the interfaces. However, in this case ANSYS CFX Pre does not recognize the names of the interface surfaces, which I named all with in an appropriate "Named Selection" to properly setup the interface conditions in the simulation. How can I solve this problem? This creates me a lot of confusion when I try to set the interface conditions in CFX-Pre Please let me know. Thanks a lot. E. |

CFX automaticly defines these sliced regions vhich are meshed 1 to 1 and conects them. The fluid or heat and other variables will automaticaly flow through this interface.
