hi!
i am generating a mesh of a pump by using ICEM tetra. because of the rotational periodic geometry i only want to simulate a segment of the whole pump. now my problem is to generate the mesh at the interface between the rotating and the stationary domain. either i get a mesh which hasn`t periodic faces or i get a mesh with periodic faces but the surfacemesh on the interface hasn`t the needed shape (have a look at the following pdf- file: ftp://ftp.hta.fhz.ch/tmp/CFD/periodic.pdf ) can anybody help me to fix this problem or does anybody know a tutorial database where i can download some examples. thanks in advance ben |

Ben:
Are you specifying the periodicity? (Geometry->Mesh params->Model->Define periodicity) Hope this helps.. Derrek |
