Hello,
I've just started using CFX-5 been through most of the tutorials which are step by step. I've never used anything like this before and It's for my degree my summer project. No one supervising me has any experience so I have to work it all out for myself. I was wondering if there are more tutorials especially on building. I've been trying simple stuff like putting a box in a tunnel but can't even get this to work. Any help greatly appreciated. kind regards. |

Hi, the concept you are struggling with is the idea of what a Brep Solid is ! This is the first struggle with CFX build, once you have this sorted out then you will be off. If this is the problem then try reading the online help on generating Brep solids. If this is not the problem then drop me a line and explain why you can't get your box in a tunnel to work and I'll try and help. Good luck, and don't get too frustrated, Bob

I've got them working. I think the problem was I was creating a solid as a wind tunnel then trying to put an object on to the floor. Now I disassemble the solid and create the object into the floor.
