Hi everyone,
I have a problem for estimating volume flow rate for flow passing over the weir and under gate using Ansys CFX software. In other software's we can find it as flux surface but in Ansys CFX i don't know how to make flux surface. so i tried 1) to estimate volume flow rate as mass flow rate by making planes in cfx post processor. but also i have a problem for making a plane only over the weir. when i make plane it covers all the domain height. these are some pictures for my simulation. Please Help 2) Other way, I tried to make thin surfaces instead of baffles in Ansys design modeler and i defined the baffles as walls in boundary conditions. but the run doesn't work and gives errors.
