Hi all! If I want to improve the accuracy of the result of calculation in CFX, what should I do? I know in the Mesh Parameters, timestep, Converge Control, Converge criteria, etc., we can improve the accuracy by properly setting. Is it right?

Hi Miko Mesh parameters i.e. mesh refinement affects the accuracy of CFD calcualtions. But timestep size and convergence control parameters do not affect the accuracy of the CFD calcualtions. They are used to obtain a converged solution. If you do not set proper convergence control parameters then you will not be able to obtain a properly coverged solution. As far as I think discritization scheme is the most important thing that affects the accuracy of CFX solution.

- Use at least high resolution or a blend of 1 for the advection scheme.

- you could use adaptive meshing.

Yes, but I think that Miko should start checking the boundary conditions. If it's not properly set up you will get accuracy whithin the code, but wrong physical results.
