not possible. cfx 5.5.1 sux

try using momentum sources, so you could define for example pressure drop at the flow region...

Hi Jan,

here an example how it might look like

SUBDOMAIN: porous

Coord Frame = Coord 0

SOURCES:

MOMENTUM SOURCE:

Quadratic Resistance Coefficient = 0.5*density*42300[m^-1]

END # MOMENTUM SOURCE

END # SOURCES

END # SUBDOMAIN

where 42300 1/m represents a zeta-value for the pressure drop.

Hope this helps,

Markus

Hi, Markus!

What's meaning 42300 for zeta-value? and how to use the program you describe in CFX5.1.1?

Thanks a lot!
