I am new in CFX. I wount to know if it is posibile to solve multi-fluid problems with CFX 5.5. I want to analize heat transfer from oil inside circular tube to air outside tube. If it is How?

If they remain separate at all time you could even try a multi-component approach (cheaper).

Yes they are separate. Could you tell me more about multi-component approach. Perhaps some web pages.

I still wont to know if it is possible with CFX 5.5

Yes it is, with Radiation models even if you are interested in heat exchange I believe.

Yes, this is possible. One problem you might have with the multi-component flow approach is that the flow of Oil will likely be laminar and the flow of air turbulent. You can't do this with multicomponent flow modelling. You can probably try this using the multi-fluid (phase) model instead, but I am skeptical about whether you will be successful.

Hello Guys I am doing project on "DISTRIBUTION OF STEAM AND HYDROGEN IN A NUCLEAR REACTOR".mY Problem is how to inject hydrogen in chamber. hydrogen is injected 4% by volume of chamber & injection takes place at bottom of chamber.I am working on CFX 5.5, in this software mass source is disable.So please guide me about it.
