Hi,
When I try to mesh my geometry, I got the following error message. Can you tell me what this imply for? Thanks Jim ---------------------------------------------------- Giving up! please check the file name and try again! |

Ar. I fix the problem by saving the db file into other name. But this time I got Warning: coincident points and FATAL ERROR wrong connectivity during surface meshing! topology problem again?

The problem I target on is a very simple things, but I guess some trick have to be used before it work. It is a concentric circular domain with 10m and 20m diameter. I use the B-rep for the inside column which is 5m longer than the surrounding ring. The surrounding ring is a Solid. So I treat it as 2 bounded domain and the self intersecting mesh is come one on the interface between this two bounded solid. Then I try to modify the B-rep solid so that it use the inner side of the surrounding ring as one of it's contruction face. Problem still occur. I need to take some rest. It is only for fun for trying the domain and sub-domain usage.
