I am trying to simulate the arc motion of a low voltage switchgear. That means I have to simulate both electric field and air flow. Has anybody ever tried to simulate an electric field?

I have simulated an electric field in CFX 4. In CFX 5 not yet, but I have someone seen doing it. Thus, it is possible.

Contact CFX in Berlin. They have experience with solving the electric field in CFX 5.

Please contact Andreas Spille from CFX Berlin ( andreas.spille@cfx-berlin.de ). He implemented Electromagnetics in CFX5.5.1.

I have an electric field due to 2 cylindrical probes .so I want to add a voltage to 2 probe. Can I do it by MHD panel?
When I add 220 to one probe and 0 to another one fluent doesn't show me the electric field vectors Why? |
