Hi
I am doing plots of evolving flow and would like to have different plot with the current time on each plot. It is possible to make a text saying what timestep it is, without having to make this manually each time I go to a new timestep ? Like in Fieldview you can specifiy that the text string should include the current timestep number. Thanks Jens |

Jens, you should be able to do this in perl in post using the power syntax. This is something I haven't done myself yet, but I'm fairly sure you can do it ! Dave

If you take this approach, you can only write out the individual pictures and will have to create the MPEG with another tool or run the MPEG encoder manually. A good application for creating movies from pictures is Apple's Quicktime Pro (US$30) from www.apple.com/quicktime.
