Hi

I am doing plots of evolving flow and would like to have different plot with the current time on each plot.

It is possible to make a text saying what timestep it is, without having to make this manually each time I go to a new timestep ?

Like in Fieldview you can specifiy that the text string should include the current timestep number.

Thanks

Jens

Jens, you should be able to do this in perl in post using the power syntax. This is something I haven't done myself yet, but I'm fairly sure you can do it ! Dave

If you take this approach, you can only write out the individual pictures and will have to create the MPEG with another tool or run the MPEG encoder manually. A good application for creating movies from pictures is Apple's Quicktime Pro (US$30) from www.apple.com/quicktime.
