Hi All,
I am trying to simulate a rotor with a bleed slot at the endwall. Right now I am using ICEM to mesh all my domains ( Rotor and Bleed slot). I use an interface to connect the two domains together. However, I find that this is a daunting task because I need to vary the bleed slot location and the size of the bleed slot. I am thinking of using TurboGrid to mesh the rotor domain. But I cannot find a way to specify the region at the hub where the interface is located. Turbogrid only gives Hub, Shroud, Inflow, Outflow ,PER1 PER2 and Blade for the mesh region names. From what I know, I need to have a part/region name before importing my mesh in CFX-Pre. I have always specify the location of the interface in ICEM. Then use connections to specify where I want to have the interface. Is there a way to just glue the domain together without specifying the regions where the interface is located? If not, could anybody suggest a better way to do this? Thanks in advance. |

I think I just found a solution to my problem.
I think I can do this by imposing a non-overlap boundary condition. https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Ans....html#CACIEDFB |
