Hi all, same problem different day. I am trying to model the effect of a very large solar collector on the atmosphere. I need a computational field of about 5000m squared. 20x20x20 control volumes. Due to the height of the model, it is fully compressible, pressure boundaries on the top and sides to emulate DALR temperature and pressure. At the moment I keep the viscosity high in order to run a laminer solution. Problem is stability and accuracy at any computational field above 100m, divergence and induced velocities. Does anyone know the trick about atmospheric modelling with CFX 4.4????? Any help will be greatly appreciated!! Regards
