Dear all, I am trying to import patran neutral file with 3d hexa elements and 2d face elements (as BC) into cfx-build and I have problem to define subdomain in build, because I cant find way how to obtain more than one 3d regions in build after import. All BC and 3d elements (in fact two 3d elem. groups) are in patran in different groups, but it still doesn't work.

Thank you very much for any help.

Jan

Hi Jan,

The importer does not look at elements, rather it looks at nodes. Grouped nodes will appear as 2D or 3D regions as appropriate.
