Hello everyone.
My model contains multi-component porous domain. And solver can't start running because CFX-Pre says 'Multiple solid definitions are not supported'. I need to create mechanical input file, right? How do i create one? Can you guys give me an example? |

You are setting up the case incorrectly.
Please review the Reacting Flow tutorial to learn how to setup a multicomponent flow. Once familiar with it, review the Catalytic Converter tutorial to learn how to setup a porous solid domain. You have setup the case as multiphase instead of multicomponent, and it is true ANSYS CFX only supports one "solid phase" per domain. It supports multiple "fluid phases" per domain, where a "fluid phase" may be a "multi-component mixture". Hope the above helps, |
