Hi!
I am using the coal combustion with edddy break up model in CFX4.4. It seems to be hard to drive the iterative errors (especially for the enthalpy) to an acceptable level. Does anyone have any advise concerning convergence in my case? Thankful for help. |

Hi,
If you have a calculation where you have obtained a reasonable velocity field. Restart from this dumpfile and set the iteration on hydrodynamic equations to zero, in this way only enthalpy and scalars are calculated. This is always a good approach when the energy equation is solved. Jan |
