Hi, I am using CFX5.4 and would like to import the geometry from the software IDeas via an iges file. Does someone know how to do ? thanks a lot for your answers. nick

Create a new *.db.

Go into File/Import, choose Source/IGES.

thanks Herve but I have ever tried without success. In fact I have tried to import just a cylinder from I-Deas which I have saved as an iges file. Then I opened it with the file/import commande under cfx but nothing appears. could you tell me more please?
