Is it possible to convert dump (*.dmp) files created by CFX4.3 into results (*.res) files, similar to them obtained from CFX5?

Michael, As Far as I know it is not possible, but I'd check with your local CFX support desk just to make sure. If its the geometry you are after, then you can take a geom built in CFX4 and set it up to run in CFX5 but there are obvious constraints with the reduced physics available in 5 compared with 4. stuart

Dear Michael,

In CFX4.4 it is possible to convert the files to rso. I do also think you can obtain a part from tasctool that can do the conversion.

Regards Jan
