Is there a usual way to set the velocity of a gas sparger in a fluid. I imagine that the gas will decrease from the velocity in to the sparger system to the limit velocity of a bubble in a fluid

vlim2=4Dg.(rhol-rhog).g/3Cdrhog

But if you have a better way (with the pressure drop in the sparger system) you are welcome

i am using cfx4.3.in relation to gas velocity at sparger, i have a doubt.if you refer example 41 in the cfx4.3 online help manual,they have given a source term for gas,i.e,fmass=0.0001 and vjet =0.25.how is it possible to calculate gas velocity from this?
