Hi all,
I am using Ansys-CFX to simulate pipe flow. my fluid domain is a complicated geometry with a lot of bends and I want to plot the temperature along the center line of the pipe. However in CFX post, i am not able to create a polyline except import from a csv file. So I am wondering if I could extract a csv file of all the mesh nodes along this line from Mesh so that I could use fin the post. Does anybody know if its possible and how I should do it? Many thanks in advance. |

Or you could put a single streamline down the middle of the pipe, generated from a single point at your inlet. The you can use this streamline object to plot temperatures against.
You can export the mesh from CFD-Post with File/export and select the object you wish to export the mesh from. You could export you entire mesh this way if you like. Or the streamline object I described before. |
