Error in CFX Solver - INIT_MESH_PHYSICS - Transient Blade Row - Fourier Transf.

Hello,

I encountered this problem (see below) after I had setup a Fourier Transformation of Nasa stage 37 transonic axial compressor at design point. I did a search on web but couldnt find anything to handle it. I conducted a steady analysis with the same mesh and it converged very well. Can you guys please help me if you have already experienced such an error. Below the problem and TBR case setup (if needed) provided.

Most likely you have already resolved this issue, but in case, here is what I know.

I had set the total mass flow rate with the option for area of “Total for All Sectors”. This option has no problem when the model is traditional transient. But since my case was TBR-FT transient model, CFX did not like this setting. I changed Mass Flow Rate Area option to “As Specified” and the error went away.

Shawn thank you. Actually after I had encountered this, I did not spent too much time to fix it and resorted harmonic balance method in Star CCM+, but I will try what you offer as soon as possible. If it works well that willbe a good oppurtunity to compare these two methods.
