Rodrigo_Eng_Mect is on a distinguished road
Hi friends, I am simulating ANSYS CFX centrifugal pump rotor, I use ANSYS MESHing, my logarithmic layer Y + 500 is 5.05e-3 with 20 prism cells, in ANSYS POST I check the YPlus values of Inlet, Outlet between 30 and 50, however, in the region of the blades I found values of Y + of 700, I tried to reduce the value of the first layer in the mesh, but with no result! What can it be? Does anyone know how I solve this problem?

Your question is about meshing so you should post in that forum.

But the answer is that you will need to do the meshing tutorials and possibly some training so you understand how the meshing software works and how to use it to get a good mesh.
