In a situation where solution is converged to the requirements, but artificial wall is placed at the outlet (or inlet) by the silver, can we accept the result as final?
If we accept that as final, then calculation of mass flow rate at that face or boundary condition, will give the actual mass flow rate or reduced mass flow rate due to recirculation and artificial wall placement? |

That is your decision, and it can only be made upon further analysis of the results.
For example, there are artificial walls, but how much of the total area is reduced ? How does the flow looks like around the modified area ? Is it possible to modify the model geometry a bit near such boundary to prevent the creation of these artificial walls. |
