Hi to all!

I'd like to improve turbomachine blades design, e.g. axial compressor to get efficiency higher.
How can I estimate such possibility before cfx calculations and using design explorer? Any relatively simple approximate treatment?

It sounds like you need to do some reading on turbomachinery design so you can understand the maximum possible efficiencies and other parameters for a blade design.

A textbook like "Fluid Mechanics and the Thermodynamics of Turbomachinery" by Dixon is what you are looking for.
