hello everyone here,

I am simulating 3D stationary drum with two inlet & two outlet with porous media.Geometry is symmetric about centre.
Due to fan placed at outlet of pipe,i am using following BCS using CFX.

Fluid =Air
Inlet Left =Atmospheric
Inlet Right =Atmospheric
Outlet Left =Mass flow
Outlet Right=Mass flow.......(Equal for both the outlets)
SST Turbulence model
Porous model with 5mm thick & 0.11 porosity applied on a strip on wall of drum.

As geometry is symmetric about centre so i am expecting symmetric flow nature about centre,but it fails for me .
I am attaching some images with this thread for more info.

Please reply me.

let us say there is Y+Y=2Y(mass flow at outlet) when i check mass flow at both the inlets it gives me 2Y at one side inlet only.I am really confusing if i am giving two inlet.I am trying to find out the reason.Please help me.

Please post an image of the flow you are getting in your results. But from your description you need to check whether the inlet which is not flowing is correctly specified, and whether it is correctly connected to the rest of the domain.
