Hello,
I have the following error: "In Analysis 'Flow Analysis 1' - Domain 'Default Domain': Equilibrium phase change in one phase in a multiphase run is not supported by the solver for this combination of thermodynamic states." I am currently trying to set up a problem in where I have saturated steam entering a pipe which is already initialized with air. The steam then is suppose to interact with air and condense. The air is then pushed out of the pipe with the rest of the steam. I am trying a equilibrium solution. Here are some of my current settings: Domain>Fluid and Particle Defintions>Air(Air at 25C)>Continuous Fluid Domain>Fluid and Particle Defintions>H2Olg(Steam3vl)>Continuous Fluid Fluid Models>Multiphase>Homogenous Model(checked) Fluid Models>Heat Transfer>Fluid Dependent Fluid Specific Models>Air>Heat Transfer Model>Thermal Energy Fluid Specific Models>H20lg>Heat Transfer Model>Thermal Energy Fluid Specific Models>H20lg>Components>Steam3l>Equilibrium Constraint Fluid Pair Models>Air| H2Olg>Nusselt Number> 6 Do you guys have any suggestions? I have tried a non-equilibrium solution previously but I was getting an error that said that there cannot be more than 1 continuous phase in NE solutions. Also, this is my first post and I have had only about 1 month of CFX experience and am still learning. Thank you in advance for your help, Daniel Last edited by dfranken; July 26, 2016 at 16:56.
