Hello!

I am trying to put a small propeller behind airfoil (2D case), the model of the propeller will follow the actuatior disk theory. there is no propeller design yet, just a discontinuity to increase the flow momentum to produce thrust.
the picture is attached to be more clear.

it will be modelled as a square with air inlet and exit. the mass of air entered the propeller will gain pressure and go out to the domain again.

my question is:
what boundary conditions i shall set in the propeller enternce and exit??
how i can control the thrust required?

thanks in advance

The rear boundary should probably be an outlet with either defined static pressure or average pressure.

You control the thrust by varying the strength of the momentum source.

Thanx for your reply, but its not clear
U mean that the face near the trailing edge is pressure outlet?

The boundary face on the right side, labelled opening should probably be an outlet as I mentioned. An opening should work too if you want to go that way.
