Hello,

I would appreciate if you could inform me, is it possible to overwrite a default variable in CFX pre (critical radius in condensation calculations). I want to change this equation some how.

Look at the options in CFX-Pre and see if it is a adjustable parameter. You might also look at the CCL as well as the CCL has more options available than CFX-Pre, so it might be there as well.

Thanks for you answer, I found these information in VARIABLES file:

VARIABLE: rcrit
Option = Definition
MMS Name = RCRIT
Long Name = Critical Radius
Tensor Type = SCALAR
Quantity = Length
Status = D
User Level = 2
Output to Jobfile = Yes
Output to Postprocessor = Yes
General Availability = RESULTS, MONITOR, CEL, TRANSIENT STATISTICS
Physical Availability = THERMAL, MULTIPHASE
Variable Scope = PHASE
Variable Class = HEAT
Field Variable = True
END

do you have a suggestion how I can change the equation?
I forgot that what does (User Level = 2) means...

As I said, if it is adjustable it will be available in CFX-Pre or CCL. So look there. Just because it is in the RULES file does not mean you can do anything with it.

Hello,Alirezame,have you solve this problem?If so could you kindly show me how to modify the Critical radius parameter in CFX?
Looking forward to your response. Thank you very much.
