Dear experts,
I am carrying out transient simulation. I stopped my simulation once, saved all results in csv. Again restarted from *_full.trn. Carried this simulation for very long time. Successfully completed the run. But didn't save the project. Computer crashed at this thime. All .trn files are present, full trn files are also present as I didn't go to the last saved state while restarting. Cfd post is only loading values of previous run, not this run. Please help. I tried to add files in timestep selector. Didn't work. I changed state in .cst file and loaded result to the most recent .res, it worked for a while but again after saving the project something happened. Please help. KSS |

Do you have the *.res of the most recent run?
If yes, you should be able to load that file and add all *.trn via timestep selector in CFD POST. What do you mean by "something happened"? Did you get any error message? |

Hey Maxim, do you have any clue, why, once I load old results in the selector, the time variable is gone?
I simulated often for like 10 seconds, and then for another 20 or so, but I will only have the times of my very recent run. All the others show solver step=-1 and time=0... Is it a bug? |

Hey Marcel,
I remember that I've seen that before but I did not look for a solution to that problem since I didn't need it. So I can't help you here, I'm afraid. Maybe someone else knows a solution? Or ask Ansys support... Please post a solution in case you found one |
