I'm new to this software and recently i'm carry out a simulation of semi open impeller by using CFX. Impeller, input/output piping and volute are drawn by using solidworks and I've imported IGES file into geometry and mesh it.
I had facing a problem defining the volute, hence I temporary exclude the impeller in this question.Hence, I draw a simple mechanism. Question: The volute is extruded by a feature so called "thin extrude" in solidworks. It has 1mm thickness and this result another body in ansys. I couldn't run in "solution" in ansys and that is the error i get. Pretty sure the 'thin extrude' features has bring me some issues as I had tried the same thing without 'thin extrude'(totally solid) i am able to simulate a simple flow simulation.
