Hi guys,
Previously, I was running my simulation whereby the rotating domain rotation axis was global X, which is the wrong axis (it should be the global Y). I was able to converge my simulation with the global X axis, however, after realizing my mistake and changing the global axis to the global Y, I received the following errors when I tried to solve the simulation:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The MeTiS partitioning method allocates additional memory.
Total memory usage will therefore exceed the values shown above.

ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction.
Message: Floating point exception: Zero divide

ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction.
Message: Stopped in routine FPX: C_FPX_HANDLER

An error has occurred in cfx5solve:
The ANSYS CFX partitioner exited with return code 1.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have tried to rectify the problem by making the mesh coarser, as well as increasing the number of partitions, however, neither option has worked. Any ideas on the reason behind this as well as what I could do to fix it?

Much thanks in advance!

Did you continue your calculation with the old solution? I assume this would confuse CFX...
Have you post-processed your old solution? How can that simulation converge when the flow direction etc. is off?

You could increase the memory for the MeTiS partitioner manually to get rid of the first error message but I'm not sure if that solves the 'deeper' problem, thought.

Maybe you can post some screenshots of your setup?
