Hi,
What are the underlying RANS and LES models that are used for the Stress-Blended Eddy Simulation (SBES) model? I think it is SST (without any advanced options included) for the RANS but I do not know the LES SGS model? Also, in CFX-Pre only one advection scheme can be selected by the User in the Solver Control, I selected the High Resolution scheme because I assume that CFX will automatically switch the advection scheme to the bounded central difference scheme in the LES region, is that a correct assumption? I do not see how the User can select the advection scheme of the RANS and LES regions separately. I would like to plot the eddy viscosity ratio () on a velocity.invariant.Q iso-surface to show the turbulence structures. However, in CFD-Post there are both two variables called Eddy Viscosity and LES viscosity, which should be used in the eddy viscosity ratio? Also in CFD-Post there is the variable Blending Function for DES suitable for observing the flowfield regions in RANS and LES modes when using SBES? Thanks |
