Hi,
I am running several number of simulations in batch mode in CFX 15.0 in order to complete a convergence/indipendence study. I am running all these jobs in an external platform which work with the 15.0 version aswell. To do that I have created one mesh file with ICEM with the .cfx5 extension. Meanwhile, I have created ONE .ccl file and one script which allow me to change the residuals for each simulation. At the end of this process, in each folder I have one .cfx5 file and one .ccl file with the correct residual value. at this point I have just to run the job as follow: First command: /CFX/bin/cfx5gtmconv -icem mesh_n.cfx5 TUBE.def -ccl residual_n.ccl Second command: /CFX/bin/cfx5solve -double -def TUBE.def Of course .ccl and .cfx5 files imported in CFX-pre work perfectly giving me the correct results If I apply these commands in batch mode singularly after creating a .cfx5 and .ccl file in ICEM and CFX-pre the job give me the correct result. However, since I have to run more than 500 simulations I needed to create a script which automatises all the process. If I run the script described above which changes the residuals, I obtain a result which is different from the one obtained singularly (and phisically wrong of course) and also an error (which allows anyway the solver to complete the .res file) such as this one: " alreadyw Analysis 1" is not valid. "FLOW: Flow Analysis 1 exists" Would you please help me to understand what happened? Did I have to change something else in the .ccl file apart from these residuals? seems that the problem is a line which is already in the first .ccl created. But this issue should appear also if I run the same files singularly, but it doesn't happen I hope that I have been enough clear Thank you in advance for your help |

Are you running this inside workbench using parameters or as a batch file? Or a bit of both?

????? Workbench???
I didn't mention workbench at all. I am not using neither workbench nor parameters.... I did the parametrization once a month ago but this is not what I need and I think batch mode is the best way to proceed in my case. All the step described in my query are in batch mode, except the creation of .cfx5 and the first .ccl file which are extracted respectively from ICEM and CFX-pre |

I have figured out that even with that error the results are correct. I was comparing different residual setup wrongly. But the error still appear.
If anyone here know something or has some ideas about an appropriate answer is more than welcome Cheers |
