I am simulating a case with tank filled with oil and air outside the tank. there is some heat source inside tank. While setting buoyancy in tank vector plot shows arrow upwards means motion of oil in upward direction. whats is possible solution to get right motion direction?

I have no idea. Unless you explain what you aer diong we don't have much chance of helping you.

Please post an image or what you are modelling, an image of your mesh and your CCL.

Actual there is one closed tank filled with oil and some heat source inside tank. and outside of tank natural air convection.

i have activated buoyancy in outer air and inner oil domain both. air and oil both should move upward as i stated -g in z-direction. but intermediate result shows air moving downward towards ground. and at the same time convergence is very slow... though mesh is refine and quality more than 0.3

is it like bottom air and oil get heated and start moving downwards. as density is function of temperature in the buoyancy model.
