Hello everybody,

Do you know which technique has been applied for mesh deformation by ANSYS CFX?
I read the tutorial for modeling valve ( a floating bouy in the chapter 32 of tutorials), but it did not explain the methodology and important parameters.

Is there any document that describe the theory of the mesh deformation in CFX?

Thanks

Hello,
In CFX, you can choose Region Of Motion Specified for mesh deformation.

Default Domain→ Basic Settings→ Mesh Deformation→ Regions of Motion Specified→ Previous Mesh
