Hello,
I am working with Ansys and coupling transient structural with CFX. There is a flexible plate in a fluid and the fluid pass it with mean velocity 1 m/s. The plate has no slip boundary. when I solve it and survey the contour of velocity I see the flow near the plate has no velocity but the flexible plate has vibrations and moves... how can I change the set up to see the velocity of fluid near plate equal the velocity of plate? Regards, Shabi |

Have a look at the interface boundary condition at the wall and see whether the velocity is set relative to mesh motion or absolute frame. You will probably want it relative to mesh motion.

Thank you, I checked it again and for Interface boundary Mesh motion was chosen...
